The Shofu P & R Repair Kit is an advanced, versatile light-cure bonding system engineered for the repair and maintenance of ceramic, composite, and porcelain restorations, including those with exposed metal surfaces. This system is designed to provide a reliable and durable bond for fractured or damaged restorations, ensuring high-quality, long-lasting results in both intraoral and laboratory settings.
This resin-based kit comprises carefully selected components, including ML Primer, a metal link primer formulated to enhance the bond between resin materials and a wide variety of metal alloys. It also features CeraResin Bond (CRB 1), which functions as a silane coupling agent for priming feldspathic porcelain or indirect resin restorations, and CeraResin Bond (CRB 2), a bonding agent that establishes a strong and durable bond with a thin, transparent layer. The system is indicated for the permanent repair and fabrication of various prostheses, such as resin veneer restorations, metal dentures, metal attachments, PFM restorations, and metal restorations like onlays, crowns, bridges, metal splints, posts, and cores.
The application protocol involves a simple, direct application technique for each component, characterized by short working times. For instance, the ML Primer offers a short application time of just 10 seconds. The CeraResin Bond components are applied sequentially, each left undisturbed for 10 seconds, followed by a light-curing process for setting, typically 20 seconds for the CeraResin Bond components.
