What's in the Box

1 x XT Filtek Z

The 3M Z350XT Restorative Kit - Body(A1;A2;A3) is a visible-light activated, universal composite resin designed for a broad range of dental restorative procedures. This nanofill composite resin is suitable for direct anterior and posterior restorations, including occlusal surfaces, as well as core build-ups, splinting, and indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, and veneers. The kit provides Body shades A1, A2, and A3, which are formulated to blend seamlessly with natural dentition.

Utilizing 3M's proprietary nanofiller technology, this restorative material offers exceptional strength and wear resistance, comparable to natural enamel, ensuring durable and long-lasting clinical performance. Its advanced formulation contributes to high polish retention and improved fluorescence, resulting in highly aesthetic and natural-looking restorations. The composite resin exhibits superior handling characteristics, allowing for easy adaptation and sculpting during direct application from the syringe.

The light-cured nature of the composite allows for controlled working time, with increments of 2.0 mm for Body shades curing in 20 seconds with a light intensity of >550 mW/cm2, or 10 seconds with >1000 mW/cm2. This facilitates an efficient and predictable restorative process, supporting a smooth workflow for dental professionals.

Isolation: A rubber dam is the preferred method of isolation. Cavity preparation: Prepare cavity with minimal tooth reduction. Apply Etchant Gel to enamel and dentin surfaces for 15 seconds. Rinse thoroughly for 15 seconds with water. Dry with clean, oil-free, air without desiccating the dentin. Do not allow the etched surface to become contaminated with saliva or blood during the bonding procedure. Adhesive: Immediately after blotting, apply 2-3 consecutive coats of adhesive to etched enamel and dentin for 15 seconds with gentle agitation using a fully saturated applicator. Remove excess solvent by gently drying with dry air for at least 5 sec to ensure a uniform glossy surface. Light cure for 20-30 seconds. Apply the material with the applicator tip directly in the cavity and pre-contour with a suitable instrument. The layer should not be thicker than 2mm. Light cure for 40 sec using a standard curing light.
