Septodont Biodentine Root Repair Material

Septodont Biodentine Root Repair Material is a bioactive dentine substitute designed for a wide range of clinical applications in both coronal and radicular procedures. This material is suitable for permanent dentine restoration under composites or inlay/onlays, temporary dentine-enamel restoration for up to six months, and the restoration of deep or large coronal carious lesions, as well as cervical or radicular lesions. It can also be used for pulp capping (direct and indirect) and pulpotomy in cases of diagnosed reversible or irreversible pulpitis.

For root applications, Biodentine is indicated for the repair of root and furcation perforations, internal and external resorptions, apexification, retrograde surgical filling, and revitalization procedures. Its formulation, based on ultra-pure tricalcium silicate, calcium carbonate, and zirconium oxide, ensures high biocompatibility and bioactivity, promoting hydroxyapatite formation and stimulating the healing process of damaged tissues. The material exhibits mechanical properties similar to natural dentine, providing a reliable and durable solution.
