SafeEndo Devitalize Plus Pulp Devitalizer - 2.5gm is an arsenic-free paste designed for precise and efficient pulp devitalization in endodontic procedures. It is indicated for pulp devitalization prior to pulp removal or amputation. This formulation supports predictable and effective pulp necrosis, making it suitable for both general dentistry and paedodontics.
The paste contains Racemic Camphor, Polyoxymethylene, Para-chlorophenol, and Lidocaine Hydrochloride, along with a paste-forming base, colorant, and fibrous filler. Polyoxymethylene functions as a protein coagulant, facilitating controlled necrosis of pulp tissue. Lidocaine Hydrochloride acts as a local anesthetic to minimize pain and discomfort during the devitalization process. The combination of Racemic Camphor and Para-chlorophenol enhances the antiseptic and anesthetic properties of the paste.
The 2.5gm presentation is designed for microsyringe application, allowing for precise delivery of the devitalizing agent into the pulp chamber. It is formulated for use in the oral cavity under biological conditions with a temperature range of 32°C to 42°C.
