Recombigen Creatinine (Jaffe’s 2P Kinetic) is a two-reagent system used for the quantitative determination of creatinine in serum, plasma, or urine using the kinetic Jaffe method. In this method, creatinine reacts with alkaline picrate to form an orange-red colored complex. The rate of color development is directly proportional to the creatinine concentration and is measured kinetically.
