Prevest DenPro ApaCal ART Cavity Liner is a photo-cure resin modified calcium hydroxide/tri-calcium phosphate pulp protectant and liner, fortified with hydroxyapatite. It is designed for use in direct and indirect pulp capping, and as a protective base or liner under various dental filling materials, cements, and other restorative materials. This formulation is specifically compatible with Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) procedures, providing a reliable barrier for enhanced cavity protection.

The liner's unique Active Release Technology facilitates the accelerated release of calcium ions, promoting dentin bridge formation and supporting the remineralization of affected tooth structure. ApaCal ART contains barium zirconate, contributing to its high radiopacity for clear visibility during follow-up radiographs, which aids in effective monitoring of treatment outcomes. This material is intended to protect the dental pulpal complex from physical, chemical, and thermal insults.
