Dosage and Administration

1. Norad 2mg 2ml Injection is administered by a healthcare provider as a continuous intravenous infusion after dilution.
2. The precise dose and duration of treatment are determined by the prescribing doctor, based on the patient's specific medical condition and response to therapy.
3. Continuous monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate is essential throughout the infusion to ensure effectiveness and safety.
4. It is preferably administered via a central venous catheter; however, peripheral administration through a large-bore IV in the mid-to-upper arm may be used for early resuscitation.
5. Dilute the concentrate before use with 5% glucose solution or 0.9% sodium chloride solution with 5% glucose solution. Dilution with 0.9% sodium chloride solution alone is not recommended due to rapid oxidation.

• Store Norad 2mg 2ml Injection at a controlled room temperature, specifically between 20°C to 25°C.

• Other possible side effects are severe hypertension, slow heartbeat (bradycardia), irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias), difficulty sleeping (insomnia), difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, and urinary retention.
• Serious side effects can include sudden numbness/weakness/cold feeling in the body, blue lips or fingernails, urinating less than usual, or dangerously high blood pressure with blurred vision or chest pain.
• Most side effects are temporary and generally resolve upon discontinuation of the injection; however, consult your doctor immediately if any symptoms persist or worsen.
