Mounting the Tip: Select the appropriate volume setting on your pipettor. Press the tip barrel firmly and straight onto the pipettor shaft until a secure, airtight seal is achieved. Avoid excessive force, which can damage the pipettor or the tip.

Aspiration (Drawing Liquid): Depress the plunger to the first stop (the measurement volume position). Submerge the tip just below the surface of the liquid. Slowly release the plunger back to the rest position to aspirate the desired volume. Crucially, ensure the tip stays submerged during this process.

Dispensing (Releasing Liquid): Place the tip against the interior side wall of the receiving vessel (e.g., tube or well) at a slight angle. Depress the plunger smoothly to the first stop, pause briefly, and then continue depressing to the second stop (the blow-out position) to expel any remaining traces of liquid.

Tip Ejection: While holding the plunger at the second stop, remove the tip from the receiving vessel by drawing it up the side wall. Release the plunger. Press the ejector button to discard the used tip safely into a biohazard or waste receptacle.
