Med Source Is It Troponin I - Pack of 10 Tests

The test accepts whole blood, serum, and plasma samples. Specimens can be used directly without any buffer preparation, and the test supports both venipuncture and finger-stick collection methods for point-of-care flexibility.

Results are available within 10–15 minutes, enabling rapid cardiac assessment in emergency care units and point-of-care settings where timely decision-making is critical for suspected myocardial infarction.

The test has excellent analytical sensitivity with a detection limit of 0.5 ng/ml, combined with high specificity for cardiac Troponin I. This minimizes false positives and is superior to troponin T assays, which can produce false positives in patients with haemodialysis, kidney transplant, acute renal failure, or skeletal muscle conditions.

No sample preparation is needed. The test uses specimens directly without requiring buffer addition, making it a true one-step procedure where the sample is added and results are interpreted immediately.

This test is designed for qualitative detection of cardiac Troponin I as a key biomarker for early diagnosis of myocardial infarction and other acute cardiac conditions. It is suitable for hospitals, emergency care units, and point-of-care testing environments requiring rapid cardiac assessment.

The immunochromatographic lateral flow design is user-friendly and requires no instrumentation, buffer, or complex procedures. Combined with rapid 10–15 minute results and acceptance of whole blood or finger-stick samples, it enables confident bedside decision-making in resource-limited or emergency care environments.
