Ivoclar Vivadent Te-Econom Plus Syringe Refill Universal Composite Resin in shade A1 is a light-curing, radiopaque hybrid composite designed for direct restorative treatments. This versatile material is indicated for a broad spectrum of applications, including restorations of Classes I to V in both anterior and posterior teeth, as well as preventive resin restorations.

The Te-Econom Plus composite offers optimal handling characteristics and is a sculptable filling material, facilitating precise adaptation and contouring during placement. Its long working time allows clinicians ample opportunity for efficient dental procedures. The material is applied in layers of a maximum of 2 mm and is light-cured.

Utilizing advanced nanohybrid technology, Te-Econom Plus achieves lifelike esthetics by mimicking the natural translucency and shade variations of tooth structure, ensuring seamless integration with surrounding dentition. It features a high filler load, contributing to enhanced strength and durability, and exhibits high radiopacity for clear identification in X-rays.

Tooth Preparation: Clean the tooth thoroughly and isolate the working area. Prepare the cavity as per clinical requirements.
Etching: Apply 37% phosphoric acid etchant to enamel for 15–20 seconds and dentin for 10–15 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and gently air dry without desiccating dentin.
Bonding: Apply bonding agent evenly to all prepared surfaces. Gently air thin and light cure according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Composite Placement: Place the composite in increments of up to 2 mm thickness. Adapt each layer properly to avoid voids.
Light Curing: Cure each increment using a suitable curing light for the recommended time.
Finishing & Polishing: Contour the restoration, then finish and polish to achieve proper anatomy, occlusion, and a smooth surface.
