Healix Gel EDTA (Chelating Agent)

Healix Gel EDTA is a chelating agent formulated for use in endodontic procedures, specifically for the chemical and mechanical enlargement and cleaning of root canals. This gel is composed of 17% EDTA salts and 10% Carbamide Peroxide, along with a paste forming agent and a bubbling agent.

The gel facilitates endodontic instrumentation by lubricating dental instruments and aiding in the detection and chelation of root canals. It effectively removes inorganic substances through chelation and helps clean canal walls by removing the smear layer produced during instrumentation. The Carbamide Peroxide component creates an effervescence effect when combined with water and sodium hypochlorite, assisting in the removal of vital and necrotic pulp tissue remnants, debris, and dentinal flakes.
