Gold Cura NiTi K Files - 21mm 10

Gold Cura files are manufactured from nickel-titanium (NiTi) alloy, which provides approximately 10 times greater resistance to bending compared to stainless steel instruments. This superior flexibility allows them to navigate very curved canals without requiring pre-bending, while their shape memory properties significantly reduce the tendency to artificially straighten the canal and minimize perforation risk.

Gold Cura files contain 56% nickel and 44% titanium by weight (1:1 atomic ratio). This composition enables the NiTi crystal structure to exist in multiple states (austenite, martensite, and R-phase), which collectively enhance the physical properties of the alloy including flexibility, shape memory, and resistance to cyclic fatigue during root canal shaping procedures.

Gold Cura K Files are designed for cleaning and shaping of root canal systems. Their flexibility and reduced perforation risk make them particularly suitable for primary shaping procedures in curved and calcified canals where conventional instruments may be limited.

NiTi instruments possess inherent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance due to their alloy composition and crystal structure. These properties ensure the files remain stable during use and minimize the risk of material degradation or adverse reactions within the root canal environment.
