Operating as a micro-controller based unit, the MST-02 provides precise control over therapeutic parameters. It delivers Faradic pulses characterized by a short duration (less than 1 ms) and a repetition rate of 50 Hz, which are typically surged to induce rhythmical muscle contraction. The stimulator also utilizes galvanic or direct current for effective pain relief and iontophoresis, in addition to offering a wide range of interrupted galvanic pulses.
