Gardasil 4 0.5ml Pfs Injection is a quadrivalent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine formulated to provide protection against diseases caused by HPV types 6, 11, 16, and 18. Each 0.5ml dose contains highly purified non-infectious L1 proteins from these specific HPV types. This vaccine is indicated for the prevention of cervical, vulvar, vaginal, and anal cancers associated with HPV types 16 and 18, in addition to genital warts caused by HPV types 6 and 11. It is recommended for administration to both males and females within the age range of 9 to 26 years.

The vaccine functions by inducing the immune system to generate type-specific antibodies, thereby establishing immunity before exposure to the virus. Gardasil 4 0.5ml Pfs Injection is presented as a 0.5ml suspension in a pre-filled syringe, intended for intramuscular administration. The preferred injection sites are the deltoid region of the upper arm or the higher anterolateral area of the thigh. Prior to administration, thorough agitation is necessary to ensure the vaccine suspension is uniformly white and cloudy, and it must not be diluted or combined with other vaccines.

Maintaining the integrity of Gardasil 4 0.5ml Pfs Injection requires strict adherence to cold-chain storage conditions. The vaccine must be stored in a refrigerator at temperatures between 2°C and 8°C and should be protected from freezing. 1. Locate & clean a 2-inch area around the site with alcohol swab or pad.
2. Prepare and draw the vaccine into the syringe from the vial.
3. Insert the needle & administer at a 90° angle into the deltoid muscle.
4. Withdraw the needle at the same angle & press a cotton ball over the site.
