Erba Alkaline Phosphatase Kit - 6x6ml

The Erba Alkaline Phosphatase Kit is engineered for the quantitative determination of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity in human serum and plasma. This assay is critical for identifying and monitoring various clinical conditions, as ALP is a group of enzymes that hydrolyse phosphates at an alkaline pH, with significant concentrations found in the liver, bones, placenta, kidneys, and intestinal wall. Elevated ALP levels can indicate conditions affecting the liver, bones, or bile ducts, including cholestasis, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and certain bone diseases.

This reagent kit employs a kinetic photometric test method, adhering to International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) recommendations, utilizing 4-nitrophenyl phosphate as the substrate. Designed for in vitro diagnostic use, the kit is compatible with both manual and automated systems, including Erba XL systems and specific Erba Chem semi-automated clinical chemistry analysers such as Chemtouch, Chem 7, Erba Chem 5 Plus V2, and Erba Chem 5X. The product is CE certified for IVD use and holds ICMR approval.
