1. Preparation Ensure the sensor and cable are clean, disinfected, and ready for use. Select the appropriate sensor size for the patient. If needed, attach or replace the exchangeable cable to match your desired length or connectivity option.
2. Positioning the Sensor Place the sensor into a protective barrier sleeve. Position the sensor intraorally according to the imaging requirement (periapical, bitewing, occlusal, etc.). Align the X-ray tube head with the sensor following standard radiographic positioning techniques.
3. Capturing the Image Initiate the exposure using your X-ray unit. The image will appear immediately on the computer. Adjust patient positioning as necessary for additional images.
4. Image Optimization Use the dynamic sharpening slider to adjust image sharpness. Fine-tune brightness and contrast with the respective sliders Select the appropriate filtering mode for your clinical application: General Dentistry Endodontics Periodontics Restorative Hygiene
5. Reviewing and Storing Confirm image quality and diagnostic value. Save images to the patient record in your imaging software. 6. Post-Use Care Remove and dispose of the barrier sleeve.
