The Angstrom Angcard HBsAg Hepatitis-B Rapid Card is an in-vitro diagnostic tool designed for the qualitative detection of Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in human serum or plasma samples. This rapid kit aids healthcare professionals in the diagnosis of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It provides timely testing capabilities, supporting prompt decision-making in patient management.
This test is based on the principle of lateral flow immunochromatography. The HBsAg Card incorporates a sample well, conjugate pad, test window, and sink pad. The conjugate pad is impregnated with colloidal gold dye conjugated to monoclonal antibodies, while polyclonal antibodies are immobilized at the test zone to facilitate antigen detection.
