Brand AMS

The AMS DC Portable X-ray Machine is a compact and efficient dental imaging device engineered to deliver high-quality radiographs with low radiation exposure. This system is designed for everyday clinical use and mobile diagnostics, providing dependable performance for dental professionals. Operating on DC technology, the unit ensures consistent X-ray output and enhanced image clarity.

With safety and precision as core considerations, the AMS DC Portable X-ray Machine minimizes patient radiation exposure. It adheres to safety standards for both patient and operator protection, featuring a maximum leakage radiation of less than 0.25 mGy/hr and tube filtration greater than 2 mm Al. The focus-to-skin distance of 20 cm further minimizes scatter radiation while enhancing image clarity.

This medical device is manufactured in conformity with IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-2-7 standards. These standards are adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) of India. The product also holds a CDSCO license, signifying certified manufacturing.

Preparation:
Place the unit on a stable surface and ensure it is either fully charged or connected to power.
Turn on the main switch; check that the display and indicators are functioning.

Positioning:
Seat the patient comfortably and align the cone perpendicular to the target area.
Maintain a focus-to-skin distance of about 20 cm.
Position the image receptor (sensor, PSP plate, or film) parallel to the tooth surface.

Exposure Settings:
Select the desired exposure time based on the patient type and tooth region.
Confirm that the tube voltage (70 kV) and current (6 mA) are properly set.
Taking the X-Ray:
Ensure all personnel stand at a safe distance.
Hold the unit steady and press the exposure button until the beep indicates completion.
Avoid moving the unit or the patient during exposure.

After Use:
Remove the image receptor and check the captured image.
Turn off the device and recharge if necessary.

Safety Precautions:
