Supporting a wide range of syringe sizes from 5ml to 60ml, including those from leading brands like JMS, BD, Dispovan, and Braun, the Akas Syru 4004 features automatic syringe size detection and custom programmability. It offers a flow rate range of 0.1 to 1200 ml/hr and allows for seamless inline infusion rate adjustment during therapy. The pump delivers accurate infusions with a mechanical accuracy of ±1% and an overall accuracy of ±2% including the syringe.

Patient safety is paramount with the Akas Syru 4004, which incorporates enhanced safety features such as occlusion alarms, target alarms, and an anti-bolus function. It provides audio/visual alerts for various conditions, including occlusion, battery status, and target completion. The pump also includes purge bolus and auto bolus functions, along with automatic pressure reduction on the drug delivery line during an occlusion alarm to prevent accidental bolus delivery. Additionally, it retains the last infusion data even after power-off, ensuring data preservation.
