The 3M™ Particulate Respirator N95 Mask, model 8210, is a disposable respiratory protection device designed to provide at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain non-oil based particles. This N95 respirator is suitable for environments involving dusty operations such as grinding, sanding, sweeping, sawing, and bagging.
Constructed with advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media, the respirator facilitates ease of breathing. Its material composition includes polypropylene for the filter, polyester for the shell and coverweb, thermoplastic elastomer for the straps, aluminum for the nose clip, and polyurethane for the nose foam. The design is free from natural rubber latex components.
This respirator can also help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles, including mold, Bacillus anthracis, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, though it does not eliminate the risk of contracting infection, illness, or disease. It is compatible with various protective eyewear and hearing protection.
