3M Impregnum Penta Refill Elastomeric Impression Material

3M Impregnum Penta Refill Elastomeric Impression Material is a polyether impression material engineered for highly precise dental impressions. It is indicated for a range of restorative procedures, including crown and bridge impressions, inlay and onlay impressions, functional impressions, and implant abutments.

This material exhibits excellent flow properties, enabling the capture of fine details for accurate impressions. Its superior initial hydrophilicity, compared to vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) materials, facilitates void-free impressions even in moist oral conditions. The characteristic “snap-set behaviour” of this soft polyether minimizes the risk of distortion, contributing to precise-fitting restorations.

Designed for efficiency, this material is compatible with the Pentamix™ System for automatic mixing and dispensing, ensuring a consistently homogeneous and void-free mix. As a Quick Step formulation, it offers a working time of 1 minute and a setting time of 4 minutes, making it particularly well-suited for single-unit and two-unit impressions.
