The 3M Adper Single Bond 2 Refill Bonding Agent is a fifth-generation, total-etch, visible-light activated dental bonding agent. This adhesive incorporates 10% by weight of 5nm diameter silica nanofiller particles, which are stable and do not settle, eliminating the need for shaking prior to use. Formulated with a moisture-tolerant copolymer in a water/ethanol solvent, it is designed to deliver reliable and consistent bond strength to both enamel and dentin in various restorative procedures.

This bonding agent is suitable for direct light-cured composite and compomer restorations, root surface desensitization, and porcelain or composite repair. It is also indicated for bonding porcelain veneers when used in conjunction with RelyX™ Veneer Cement and RelyX™ Ceramic Primer. Furthermore, the Adper Single Bond 2 can be utilized for indirect bonding procedures, including crown and bridge, inlay/onlay, and amalgam bonding, when combined with RelyX™ ARC Adhesive Resin Cement.

Key Features :

Total-etch, visible-light activated resin adhesive for a broad range of direct and indirect restorations.
Features a stable nanofiller that eliminates the need for shaking, ensuring consistent mixing and application.

Isolation: Rubber dam is the preferred method of isolation. Cavity preparation: Prepare cavity with minimal tooth reduction. Bevel cavosurface enamel margins. Etching: Apply Scotchbond Etchant to enamel and dentin. Wait 15 seconds. Rinse for 10 seconds. Blot excess water using a cotton pellet or mini-sponge. The surface should appear glistening without the pooling of water. Adhesive: Immediately after blotting, apply 2-3 consecutive coats of adhesive to etched enamel and dentin for 15 seconds with gentle agitation using a fully saturated applicator. Gently air thin for five seconds to evaporate solvents. Light cure for 10 seconds. Restorative placement, cure, and finishing: Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for the placement, cure, and finishing of restorative materials.
