Description:

Zyvac Tcv-PFS Vaccine is an active immunizing agent. It is given to prevent typhoid fever caused by bacteria called S. typhi. It is usually applied at least 2 weeks before the expected exposure to S. typhi.

Zyvac Tcv-PFS Vaccine is administered by a doctor or a nurse. You should not administer this vaccine yourself at home. It is recommended for travellers who travel to areas where there is a high risk of typhoid. Its effect lasts for about 3 years from the time of vaccination. To provide sustained immunity, booster injections are required every 3 years.
