Zhermack Occlufast Rock Bite Registration Material is an advanced vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) addition silicone designed for precise dental occlusion recording. This material is specifically formulated to capture accurate interocclusal relationships, making it suitable for a range of restorative and prosthodontic procedures.

Engineered for clinical efficiency, Occlufast Rock offers a working time of 30 seconds and an intraoral setting time of 60 seconds. Its thixotropic nature ensures controlled flow during application, preventing unwanted displacement and facilitating precise placement on tooth surfaces.

The material exhibits high dimensional stability, maintaining the accuracy of the recorded bite relationship for up to 15 days, which is crucial for subsequent laboratory processing and prosthetic fabrication. After setting, it achieves a high final hardness of 95 Shore A, contributing to reliable and rigid bite registrations.

Apply Occlufast Rock according to the desired (occlusal or buccal) technique. If the occlusal technique is used, after extruding the material directly on the teeth, ask the patient to bite. Occlufast Rock is thixotropic; it does not drip, therefore facilitates control.
Before assembling the tip, ensure that the two components (base and catalyst) flow out evenly by applying a light pressure on the dispenser lever and extruding a small amount of material, which must be removed
-Subsequently, insert the mixing tip and, if required, the intraoral tip into the cartridge
