Placement and Setup:
Place the autoclave on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
Ensure proper ventilation around the unit (minimum clearance of 10 cm on all sides).
Connect the autoclave to a 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz power supply with proper grounding.
Fill the water tank with distilled water only to prevent scaling and damage to the heating system.
Preparing Instruments:
Thoroughly clean and dry all instruments before sterilization.
Arrange the instruments on the trays or inside sterilization pouches.
Do not overload the chamber—allow sufficient space for steam to circulate evenly.
Loading the Chamber:
Open the front-loading door and place the tray rack inside the chamber.
Insert trays evenly on the rack, ensuring they are stable.
Check that the door gasket is clean and free of debris, then close and lock the door firmly.
Selecting the Sterilization Cycle:
Switch on the autoclave using the power button.
From the control panel, select the appropriate N-Class sterilization program based on the type of load (e.g., unwrapped instruments).
The unit typically operates at 121°C or 134°C, depending on the selected cycle.
Running the Cycle:
Press Start to begin the sterilization process.
The autoclave will automatically perform heating, sterilization, exhaust, and drying phases.
Monitor the progress on the digital display.
Cycle Completion:
Once the cycle is complete, wait for the pressure gauge to return to zero and for the display to indicate it is safe to open.
Gently open the door to allow steam to escape before fully opening.
Unloading:
Use sterilization gloves to remove trays or instruments carefully.
Allow all instruments to cool before handling or storage.
Post-Use Maintenance:
Drain any condensed water from the water outlet after use.
Wipe the chamber and trays dry with a clean cloth.
Refill the clean water tank with distilled water for the next use.
Clean the door gasket and filters regularly to maintain proper sealing and performance.
Safety Tips:
Never open the door while the autoclave is under pressure.
Always use distilled water—tap or mineral water can damage the heating system.
Keep the autoclave unplugged when not in use or during cleaning.
Ensure instruments are free from lubricants or residues before sterilization.
