What's in the Box
1 x Lens
The Volk Equator Plus Lens, featuring an ANF+ Flange, is an indirect contact slit lamp lens engineered for precise small pupil diagnosis and treatment in ophthalmology. It facilitates high-resolution mid-field viewing, providing access from the central to mid-peripheral retina for comprehensive assessment and intervention.
Constructed with patented double aspheric high index glass optics, this lens delivers enhanced imaging and superior clarity. Its exclusive ANF+ (Advanced No Fluid) contact design streamlines procedures by eliminating the need for coupling fluid during routine examinations, though fluid is recommended for laser applications.
This lens is particularly suited for Panretinal Photocoagulation (PRP) laser treatments and is crucial for evaluating and treating high-risk patients, such as those susceptible to angle closure and iris neovascularization, where pupil dilation should be avoided. The small pupil capability also offers significant advantages for geriatric populations with limited pupil response to dilation. The Volk Equator Plus Lens complies with US FDA regulations 21 CFR 820 and holds the CE Mark under Council Directive 93/42/EEC for Medical Devices.
