It serves as an effective instrument for glaucoma screening, identifying retinal peripheral tears, and central and peripheral hemorrhages. This lens offers a median field and magnification, making it suitable for dynamic wide-field retinal imaging and posterior pole examination.

Featuring patented double aspheric glass optics, the Volk Classic Bio Lens 25D ensures enhanced imaging capabilities, delivering clear and sharp images for visualizing the retina. The lens is crafted from high-grade, low dispersion optical glass, contributing to enhanced resolution and minimized reflections and glare through advanced A/R coating.

Volk Optical BIO Lenses, including the 25D, are intended for visualization during diagnosis and laser therapy of the human retina (fundus) using a binocular indirect ophthalmoscope.
