Dosage and Administration

  1. Ujvira 100mg Injection is administered by a qualified medical professional as an intravenous infusion.
  2. The initial infusion typically takes 90 minutes. Subsequent infusions may be administered over 30 minutes if the first dose is well tolerated.

Precautions and Safety

  • Ujvira 100mg Injection is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Effective contraception is required during treatment and for at least 6 months after the last dose for both men and women.

  • Common side effects include fever, visual disturbances, nosebleeds, hair loss, dizziness, nail disorders, weight loss, loss of appetite, bruising, dry mouth, muscle pain, nausea, headache, rash, insomnia, infection, abdominal pain, chills, back pain, edema, vomiting, cough, constipation, tingling and numbness in hands/feet, and joint pain.
  • Serious side effects can include heart problems (such as heart failure or decreased left ventricular ejection fraction), allergic reactions, kidney problems, breathing difficulties, liver injury, bleeding, and infusion reactions. Report any severe or persistent side effects to your doctor immediately.
