Typbar Pfs Vaccine 0.5ml Injection is a sterile solution designed for active immunization against typhoid fever. It is specifically formulated to prevent typhoid fever caused by the bacterium Salmonella Typhi.

This vaccine contains purified Vi capsular polysaccharide of Salmonella typhi Ty2 25 µg. It is indicated for active immunization in adults and children aged two years and above. Selective immunization is recommended for individuals such as travelers to high endemic areas, household contacts of carriers, healthcare personnel, police, armed forces, and other regimented personnel.

Typbar Pfs Vaccine is administered as a 0.5ml intramuscular injection. A single dose is generally given at least two weeks prior to expected exposure to typhoid fever. For individuals who remain at risk, a single booster dose is usually given every three years.
