Brand Tynor
The Tynor Ankle Binder, model D 01, is an effective device designed to provide support, compression, and partial immobilization of the ankle. It is indicated for the management of pain, oedema, and inflammation following injury or sprain, including sprains and strains of the ankle, muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries, oedema, contusion, and arthritis. This binder also serves as a prophylactic measure for individuals engaged in sports.
The binder is constructed with a bi-layered fabric, featuring cotton on the inside for thermophilic interphase and sweat absorption, and nylon on the outside for durability and aesthetics. This high-quality, elastic, and breathable fabric ensures a comfortable fit and allows air circulation to prevent moisture buildup. The four-way stretchable fabric ensures effective compression.
The compression sleeve is knitted in three dimensions to conform accurately to the complex anatomy of the ankle, providing controlled compression and a dual grip. An elasticized wrap, designed in a figure of eight, enhances ankle stability and aids in preventing inversion or aversion injuries, while also controlling plantar flexion.
