  • Control of nosebleeds (epistaxis) and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
  • Management of hereditary angioedema.

Dosage and Administration

  1. Tramic 500mg Injection 5ml is for intravenous administration only.
  2. Administer as a slow intravenous injection or infusion, not exceeding a rate of 1 ml per minute to avoid hypotension.

  4. Parenteral drug products should be visually inspected for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration.

 

Storage and Disposal

  • Store below 30°C and protect from light. Do not freeze.

Precautions and Safety

  • This medicine must only be administered intravenously; intrathecal, epidural, intraventricular, or intracerebral administration is contraindicated due to the risk of serious adverse reactions, including seizures and cerebral edema.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, kidney problems, or defective color vision.
  • Concomitant use with hormonal contraceptives may increase the risk of thromboembolic events.

  • Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, back pain, and dizziness.
  • Rapid intravenous administration can lead to hypotension (low blood pressure).
