Tamoxol 20mg Tablet contains Tamoxifen Citrate, a selective estrogen receptor modulator, primarily used in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer.

Benefits

Tamoxifen Citrate works by blocking the effects of estrogen in breast tissue, which helps to slow the growth of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer cells. It is effective in reducing the risk of breast cancer recurrence and can lower the incidence of breast cancer in high-risk individuals.

  • Treatment of early and advanced estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer in both women and men.
  • Reduction of breast cancer risk in women identified as high-risk for the disease.
  • Adjuvant treatment for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) following breast surgery and radiation, to reduce the risk of invasive breast cancer.
