Sulfasaaz 500mg Tablet contains Sulfasalazine 500mg, an anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory agent used to treat inflammatory bowel diseases like ulcerative colitis and certain types of arthritis.

Uses and Indications

• Management of rheumatoid arthritis in adults who have responded inadequately to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
• Treatment of polyarticular-course juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children aged six years and older.
• Management of Crohn's disease (off-label use).

The Sulfasaaz 500mg Tablet contains:

• Sulfasalazine USP 500mg (active ingredient).
• Excipients: Corn starch, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid, cellulose acetate phthalate, polyethylene glycol, povidone, propylene glycol, self-emulsifying glycerol monostearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, white beeswax, carnauba wax.

Dosage and Administration

1. Take Sulfasaaz 500mg Tablet orally after meals with a full glass of water.
2. Swallow the delayed-release tablet whole. Do not crush, chew, or break it, as this may cause stomach upset.
