Rotasiil Liquid Oral 2ml Drops

Rotasiil Liquid Oral 2ml Drops is a rotavirus vaccine indicated for the active immunization of healthy infants. This vaccine is designed for the prevention of gastroenteritis caused by rotavirus infection. It is presented as a ready-to-use liquid formulation for oral administration.

The vaccine contains live attenuated bovine-human reassortant pentavalent rotavirus serotypes G1, G2, G3, G4, and G9, with each 2.0 ml dose containing ≥ 10^5.6 FFU per serotype. It is administered to healthy infants starting from 6 weeks of age as a 3-dose regimen, with doses given 4 weeks apart, and the series should be completed by one year of age.

Rotasiil Liquid Oral 2ml Drops must be stored refrigerated between +2°C to +8°C and should not be frozen. Manufactured by Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd., this vaccine is licensed in India by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) and received WHO Prequalification on September 13, 2023.
