Raniji 30ml Injection contains Ranitidine HCl 25mg/ML, a histamine H2 receptor antagonist used to reduce stomach acid production and treat conditions like peptic ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Benefits

Ranitidine HCl 25mg/ML Injection offers rapid relief from conditions caused by excess stomach acid, including ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and hyperacidity. Administered intravenously or intramuscularly, it provides a quick onset of action, which is crucial in acute situations or when oral medication is not feasible. By blocking histamine H2 receptors, it effectively alleviates symptoms such as heartburn and supports the healing of gastric ulcers.

Uses and Indications

  • Short-term treatment of active duodenal and benign gastric ulcers.
  • Management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including reflux oesophagitis and symptomatic relief.
  • Treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
  • Prophylaxis against gastrointestinal haemorrhage from stress ulceration in seriously ill patients.
  • Prevention of recurrent haemorrhage in patients with bleeding peptic ulcers.
  • Prophylaxis of acid aspiration before general anaesthesia, particularly in obstetric patients during labour.
  • As a short-term alternative for patients unable to take oral ranitidine.

The Raniji 30ml Injection contains:

  • Ranitidine Hydrochloride 25mg/ML (active ingredient).
  • Excipients: phenol (as preservative), monobasic potassium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate (as buffers), hydrochloric acid (to adjust pH), and water for injections.
