Radiometer pO2 Membrane Kit - Pack of 4 Vails

The Radiometer pO2 Membrane Kit is a replacement membrane specifically designed for oxygen (pO₂) sensors utilized in Radiometer blood gas analyzers. This kit facilitates the controlled diffusion of oxygen to the sensor, which is essential for enabling highly accurate measurement of oxygen partial pressure in blood samples. Such precise measurements are critical for the diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening acid-base disturbances in clinical settings.

Each kit contains D799 pO2 membranes, which are integral to the optical pO2 sensor system. This system operates on the principle that oxygen reduces the intensity and time constant of phosphorescence from a phosphorescent dye in contact with the sample, thereby allowing for accurate pO2 measurement. The membranes are manufactured to maintain optimal sensor response and reduce interference during analysis.

These membrane kits are intended for use with Radiometer blood gas analyzers that have received regulatory clearances. Compatible systems include the Radiometer ABL90 FLEX PLUS System, which has received FDA 510(k) premarket notification, as well as the ABL800 FLEX and ABL80 FLEX CO-OX analyzers, which also hold FDA 510(k) clearances.
