Prima Dental Inverted Cone (SI) Series Regular Shank Diamond Burs, such as the Medium SI-47M, are meticulously crafted dental instruments designed to facilitate precise and efficient cutting in various dental procedures. These burs feature a medium grit size, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including crown and bridge preparation, as well as endodontic procedures.

These diamond burs are manufactured from a single piece of high quality stainless steel (420F) plated at the operational end with a natural diamond grit. While primarily composed of 420F Stainless Steel, a plating containing Nickel is subsequently applied, making their use contraindicated for patients with a known allergy to Nickel.

The burs are indicated for a wide range of restorative procedures, including the removal of caries and/or old restorations, the preparation of cavities for restoration, the finishing of restorations, and the removal of crowns. They can be used to cut and shape various dental materials, such as enamel, dentine, amalgam, composite, glass ionomer cements, polymer/ceramic veneers, and precious/non-precious metals. Designed with a regular shank, these diamond burs are compatible with a wide range of dental handpieces.
