This quick-set, easy-mix material is intended for use as a temporary filling material, temporary restoration, and temporary cementation of crowns and bridges. It also serves as an ideal cavity liner under most restorative materials, providing thermal insulation.
The cement utilizes a zinc oxide eugenol formulation, known for its sedative effect on the pulp and its ability to soothe sensitive tissues during temporary cementation. It is engineered with an optimized consistency, allowing for easy mixing and precise application. The powder and liquid composition is designed for hand mixing, with a recommended mixing time of 45-60 seconds to achieve a putty consistency.
Zitemp offers rapid setting characteristics with a setting time of 5-7 minutes. Its excellent retention properties provide stability for temporary restorations while allowing for easy removal when necessary. The material is compliant with ISO 3107 standards.
