Prevest DenPro Copal-F Cavity Varnish is a copal gum-based protective varnish designed for optimal cavity protection in restorative dentistry. It functions as a cavity liner and dentinal tubuli sealer, insulating exposed dentine and reducing the penetration of fluids into the tooth and subsequent restorations.

Formulated with copal gum, isopropyl alcohol, and sodium fluoride, this varnish creates a protective barrier. The inclusion of sodium fluoride provides a thermal barrier for deep restorations, alleviating thermal sensitivity, and promotes remineralization to offer additional protection against secondary caries.

Copal-F is indicated for lining cavities and sealing exposed dentin surfaces in teeth prepared for restorations. It serves as an immediate varnish prior to the insertion of amalgam, cement, or composite fillings. The material has been developed solely for professional dental use.
