Poviend 2% Mint Flavour 100ml Gargle contains Povidone-Iodine 2% w/v, an antiseptic and disinfectant used for oral hygiene and to treat infections of the mouth and throat.

Uses and Indications

• Relief of symptoms associated with gingivitis (swollen or inflamed gums), stomatitis (mouth ulcers), and halitosis (bad breath due to bacterial overgrowth).

• Povidone-Iodine IP 2% w/v (active ingredient).
• Mint flavour aqueous base.

Dosage and Administration

1. Dilute with an equal amount of warm water if advised by a doctor or if the taste is an issue.
2. Gargle with 10–15 ml of the solution for 30 seconds, then spit it out. Do not swallow.
3. Use 2–3 times daily, or up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a physician or dentist.
4. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after use.

Storage and Disposal

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not freeze.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Dispose of any unused product in accordance with local requirements.

• Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to iodine or povidone-iodine.
