Peters Surgical Corolene Suture 5-0 - W20N10E Pack of 36

The synthetic non-absorbable surgical sutures COROLENE® are
composed of an isotactic polypropylene monofilament, with or without
PLEDGET or stop points of different sizes.

COROLENE® sutures are white dyed with Titanium dioxide (CI 77891)
or blue dyed with copper Phthalocyanine (CI 74160) to enhance
visibility.

COROLENE® sutures comply with the requirements of the United States
Pharmacopoeia (USP) and the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) for non-
absorbable surgical sutures.
COROLENE® sutures elicit a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in
tissues, which is followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by
fibrous connective tissue.

The synthetic non-absorbable surgical sutures COROLENE® are
available in various lengths, diameters (USP/EP) and quantities with
surgical needles.

USE:

As any suture material, the technique (knots safety), methods and
associated products must be adapted by the surgeon according to the
clinical context and his experience to ensure patient’s safety.

Users should be familiar with surgical procedures and techniques
involving synthetic non-absorbable sutures, as risk of wound
dehiscence may vary with the site of application and the suture material
used.

Acceptable surgical practice should be followed with respect to drainage
and closure of contaminated or infected wounds.
