The synthetic non-absorbable surgical sutures ACIER are composed
of implantable stainless steel wire
ACIER sutures comply with the requirements of the United States
Pharmacopoeia (USP) and the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) for
non-absorbable surgical sutures, except for some diameters

Indications : ACIER sutures are intended for use in thoracic and cardiothoracic surgery (sternum closure) and in orthopaedic surgery.

• ACIER sutures elicit a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues,
  which is followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous
  connective tissue.
• ACIER sutures are not absorbed and there is no degradation or loss of
  strength.
• Recommended storage conditions: below 40°C, away from moisture
  and direct heat.
• Do not use after expiration date.
• The synthetic non-absorbable surgical sutures ACIER are available in
  various lengths, diameters (USP/EP) and quantities with or without
  surgical needles.
