Pantojohn 40mg Tablet contains Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce stomach acid production for treating acid-related conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers.

Benefits

This medicine provides effective relief from acidity and heartburn by blocking excessive stomach acid secretion. It promotes the healing of existing ulcers and oesophageal damage, such as erosive esophagitis. Regular use also helps prevent the recurrence of acid-related disorders and can protect against stomach ulcers induced by NSAIDs. It is also used in the management of Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.

Uses and Indications

  • Erosive esophagitis (inflammation and damage to the food pipe lining).

  • Prevention of stomach ulcers and acidity caused by prolonged use of painkillers (NSAIDs).
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, in combination with appropriate antibiotics.
