The Micro Mega Hero Shaper Classic Assorted NiTi Rotary Files, in the 21mm variant, are nickel-titanium (NiTi) instruments designed for continuous rotation in endodontic procedures. These files are engineered for efficient and predictable canal shaping, minimizing chairside time. The assorted design accommodates diverse canal anatomies, providing versatility for various clinical scenarios, from initial access to final shaping.
Utilizing the crown-down technique, Hero Shaper Classic files progressively remove constraints and flare the root canal. The coronal third is prepared using .06 taper files, while the apical third is prepared with .04 taper files. These rotary files are suitable for managing conditions such as irreversible pulp pathology, pulpitis, and necrosis during orthograde treatments. They are not designed for endodontic retreatment (ERT).
The design incorporates a triple helix cutting edge and an inactive tip, allowing the instrument to follow the canal anatomy effectively. An innovative, varying helical pitch from tip to shank helps avoid screwing effects, enhancing safety and debris evacuation. The 21mm length is calibrated for optimal accessibility and maneuverability in common endodontic procedures, facilitating efficient canal preparation while maintaining procedural control.
