INDICATIONS :
Methimazole is used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism.

USES :
Methimazole is an anti-thyroid medication. It works by reducing the amount of thyroid hormones produced by the thyroid gland.

Skin rash, Hair loss, Headache, Nausea, Skin pigmentation, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Joint pain, Vomiting, Itching, Vertigo, Muscle pain, Inhibition of myelopoiesis, Aplastic anemia, Drug fever, Drug-induced lupus syndrome, Insulin autoimmune syndrome, Cholestatic jaundice, Fulminant hepatitis (viral infection of liver), Encephalopathy, Liver necrosis, Hepatitis (viral infection of liver), Periarteritis, Hypoprothrombinemia, Nephritis, Urticaria, Epigastric pain, Tasteless, Sleepiness, Neuritis, Edema (swelling), Jaundice, Salivary gland inflammation, Swelling of lymph nodes, Vasculitis.
