This formulation is specifically designed to be non-eugenol, making it particularly suitable for patients who exhibit sensitivities to eugenol-based materials.
The cement is a paste-paste type, facilitating an easy mixing protocol where equal parts of the base and catalyst are thoroughly combined with a spatula for 20 to 30 seconds. Composed of a zinc oxide base and a catalyst containing rosin and nonanoic acid, NETC offers a working time of 1.5 minutes after mixing, allowing for efficient placement. The material achieves its final set within 6 minutes, ensuring timely completion of temporary restorations.
