<html><body><p>SARS-CoV-2: Rapid Antigen Test is a lateral flow immunoassay for qualitative detection of ‘N’ antigen of Corona virus (Sars-Cov-2) in human nasopharyngeal swab specimen. It is a visual test which can be performed very easily in any medical set up. To perform the test, nasopharyngeal swab specimen is required to extract the virus into extraction tube provided along with kit. When an adequate volume of extraction buffer containing ‘N’ antigen of Corona virus (Sars-Cov-2) from nasopharyngeal specimen is dispensed into the test device, the specimen migrates chromatographically by capillary action across the nitrocellulose membrane along with immune complex of colloidal gold conjugate with antigen present in the test specimen. When the complex meets the test line region ‘T’, the complex is trapped by the immobilized antibody forming an antibody-antigen-antibody colloidal gold complex. Appearance of pink / purple line in front of ‘T’ indicates presence of Corona virus (Sars-Cov-2). To validate the test, internal built-in control has been provided. Test is very simple to perform and easy to interpret the results. It has shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacturing if stored at 2-30°C</p></body></html>
