This material is primarily utilized by dental professionals for border extensions on custom impression trays, recording the full depth of the sulcus, and making functional and relining impressions for removable dental prostheses. It is also suitable for taking primary impressions in edentulous cases.

The compound attains uniform plasticity and high viscosity at comfortable working temperatures, typically between 55-65°C, allowing for precise adaptation to oral tissues. It offers an extended working time, providing ample opportunity for adjustments and achieving the desired shape. Following impression formation, the material solidifies rapidly when immersed in cold water, ensuring efficient use and stable, accurate impressions.
