The LuxaScope Auris otoscope works without fiber optics and still offers a clear view of the ear canal. Six concentrically placed LEDs and a unilaterally swiveling viewing window with 3x magnification allow for a shadowless and direct illumination of the inner ear. The handle is made of aluminum and fiberglass reinforced plastic, and thus offers a pleasant feel with a modern design. The pocket otoscope by Luxamed is available as a battery operated or rechargeable battery operated version. The otoscope version with a rechargeable battery ensures simple and reliable charging thanks to the provided USB cable. In addition, every LuxaScope Auris otoscope has a blower connection for pneumatic tests.
