Keeler R Type Applanation Tonometer

The KAT
R-type style applanation tonometer is designed to be used with the H series
slit lamp (tower illumination). The R-type tonometer is fixed allowing for it
to easily swing into and out of position as needed without being removed.
Each of these applanation tonometer units contains a calibration arm and a
re-usable tonometer cone.



The Goldmann principle is considered to be the most prevalent method of
tonometry, as it is the most widely accepted method of determining the
approximate intraocular pressure. The Keeler-manufactured Goldmann tonometers
are designed and built to our exacting standards to give you the accuracy and
quality you expect from a Keeler device.
